What is STP file?
The STP (STEP 3D CAD File) is a file extension typically used in three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) programs related to 3D. The STP, or Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data, was first introduced by ISO 10303-21 and provides users with the ability to share 3D objects. What is PRT file?
The PRT file extension is a 3D assembly that is used by several engineering CAD programs like Unigraphics NX. It stands for “Part” and can generally be thought of as an assembly of multiple shapes that can be manipulated in order to create a 3D object. How to convert the file from STP to PRT?
To successfully convert the STP file to PRT, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.STP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case PRT (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than PRT).
What is a file conversion?
