What is IDW file?

The IDW file extension is utilized by Autodesk 3D Studio, and stands for Inventor Drawing. It is a vector image type developed by Autodesk for 2D and 3D drawing using the Autodeks Inventor tool. It uses lines, arcs, circles and other geometric shapes to create a drawing. How to convert the file from STP to IDW?

To successfully convert the STP file to IDW, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.STP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case IDW (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than IDW).

What is a file conversion?
