What is MIDI file?
The .MIDI file extension is a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) file. MIDI files contain instructions on how a specific instrument or group of instruments should produce sound. These instructions are defined using data and codes stored in the MIDI file. MIDI files are popularly used in music production due to their low size. In comparison to audio files, such as MP3s, MIDI files are considerably smaller, and require less storage space. [ ⏩ ] MIDI file extension
What is AAC file?
The .AAC file extension is a versatile audio compression format developed by the Moving Picture Experts Group. It is a part of the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standard and is used on Apple iOS devices, Sony PSP gaming consoles, and some multimedia websites. The AAC format is designed to provide significantly better sound quality than MP3 with lower bit-rates. It also offers advanced features such as error correction codes and index tables for faster seeking during playback. [ ⏩ ] AAC file extension

How to convert the file from MIDI to AAC?
To successfully convert the MIDI file to AAC, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.MIDI). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case AAC (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than AAC).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. MIDI to AAC. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting MIDI files to AAC files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension AAC, while before this step we had the MIDI file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new AAC file, or not.
