The MEB ( MEB) file extension is associated with the PRO100 3D Interior Catalog Element software. It is a type of data file provided by Pro100 company and used primarily to store three-dimensional modelling data from this program. The MEB files are commonly used by interior decorators, furniture designers and visualizers for creating interior scenes and using catalog elements.
About MEB File
Specifically, it is a library element file created from collections of images, model objects, textures, styles and other imitation parameters which are intended to be used in managing rich 3D content of the PRO100 3D Interior application. The MEB file can be viewed within various ports of this application and usually require to be digitally shared with its native application only. It can be saved in plain text or binary formats, depending on the particular version of PRO100 3D Interior on which the file was created. Other similar file extensions are PDB, SPM, PRJ, PTS and HGT.
File Association for MEB File
The .meb files are designed to work exclusively with PRO100 3D Interior software since releases 8.0 and later, however it is not compatible with any other software application. Compatible versions of this program tend to open and import these files fine but certain versions may require certain additional components in order to open them correctly. As well as importing library elements into the program, PRO100 3D Interior is also capable of exporting and sharing its content by using CFM or PEM file format.
Programs for WINDOWS system
After installing the required software, the operating system will usually automatically associate an unknown file type (in this case .MEB) with the new application. If this does not happen, we can help the system a bit by selecting the software for it, which it should always use to open files with the .MEB extension.
When choosing the software we can select the system to use this software every time.
Remember!
Using it for the first time it is good to check whether the .MEB file opened in the application can be read by us and opens in a way that allows us to use it. If everything is in order, select this option the next time you open a file with the .MEB extension. However, if the file has not opened correctly, we have to look for a different software, with which we can open files with the .MEB extension. Select a different software from our list and install it on your computer. After the software is installed, repeat inspection openings of a .MEB file. Sometimes you have to repeat the operation several times.
Other instructions
If none of the programs listed by us to work with the .MEB file has not meet your expectations, you can try searching other websites. But remember to avoid downloading programs "that can open any file". These applications not only have very limited functionality, but may also expose you to expense tens of dollars when purchasing a license.
In the vast majority of cases you will find the program dedicated to support the .MEB file, or any other file format. In addition, there is a chance that it will be a free program, and its functionality (concerning the .MEB file) will be extended to the maximum.
It is also good to check
- if the .MEB file has no errors
- or if it has been copied (or downloaded by the browser) thoroughly
