The IV file extension is associated with the open source 3D platform Open Inventor, developed by Silicon Graphics Inc.(SGI). Open Inventor is a toolkit and API for creating 3D graphics applications. The IV file stores a scene graph, which is a data structure describing the 3D objects in an application as well as their transformations. How to convert the file from VRML to IV?

To successfully convert the VRML file to IV, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.VRML).
