What is EXP file?
The EXP (Symbols Export File) .EXP is a type of plain text file format used for exporting symbols from software programs, usually stored in a library. Most commonly, it is used with AutoCAD, a computer-aided design (CAD) program for 2D and 3D design and drafting. It may also be used with texture mapper programs, such as Autodesk 3ds Max, to store palletized images, called bitmaps. What is DST file?
The .DST file extension is a widely used vector graphic file format for embroidery machines. It was created by Tajima Corporation as a proprietary format for their popular series of embroidery digitizing software. DST files can be opened and edited with any version of Tajima DGML or Pulse Master and are also supported by many other professional embroidery programs, such as Wilcom and Singer X-Site. How to convert the file from EXP to DST?
To successfully convert the EXP file to DST, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.EXP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case DST (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than DST).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. EXP to DST. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
