What is EXP file?
The EXP (Symbols Export File) .EXP is a type of plain text file format used for exporting symbols from software programs, usually stored in a library. Most commonly, it is used with AutoCAD, a computer-aided design (CAD) program for 2D and 3D design and drafting. It may also be used with texture mapper programs, such as Autodesk 3ds Max, to store palletized images, called bitmaps. How to convert the file from EXP to DAT?
To successfully convert the EXP file to DAT, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.EXP).
