What is JT file?

The .JT file extension is most commonly associated with the JT Open CAD software, a lightweight 3D modeling program developed by Siemens. This file format is an open source, neutral data format used to store and exchange 3D product models. JT Open CAD files are comprised of three-dimensional models with user attributes, detailed product geometry, and image data. How to convert the file from DGN to JT?

To successfully convert the DGN file to JT, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.DGN). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case JT (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than JT).

What is a file conversion?
