A WPG file is a vector image created with .WPG or drawn using Corel WordPerfect Draw. It stores up to 256 colors and graphical elements, such as text, lines, curves, rectangles, ellipses, symbols, bitmaps and other images. The format stores graphics in an efficient but proprietary file format that is not widely used. WPG files are mainly used for documents created in Corel WordPerfect Office versions 10 and 11.

WPG files can contain Japanese fonts, Euro fonts, 14 TrueType fonts and 4 type1 fonts. The color depth of a WPG image can range from 1 to 256 non-dithered colors or a 6 or 8-bit gray scale image. They can also include bitmap compression methods such as RLE, group4, JBIG and Jpeg compression. WPG files also support image mask operations and can have one or several layers. WPG images are commonly found with WordPerfect documents created in WordPerfect Office. It is a high-resolution vector graphic format that can be imported into other software packages like Photoshop.
