A VEG file is a video clip created using Adobe Premiere Pro, a non-linear video editing application from Adobe. It includes the complete timeline sequence, including edits and video with accompanied audio. VEG files are used to create movies and other form of video productions. They are similar to other Adobe Premiere Pro project formats like .PRPROJ or PRCP.
Technical Specifics
The VEG file is an XML-based format that stores all the video sequences and associated data, such as audio, clip art, motion graphics, transitions, titles, and text. It also stores user preferences in the form of tags, metadata, custom effects settings, and more. Data in a VEG file can be compressed with gzip for storage efficiency.
