The UNK file extension is a data file created by UVProbe, a data acquisition software originally developed by Milaha Delta Instruments. It contains data describing the physical properties of materials taken from an ultraviolet/visible spectrophotometer. The data can be used to assess the color, optical density, and spectral reflectivity of material under UV radiation.
Uses and File Details
The UNK file may be used to provide spectral information from highly reflective surfaces or spectra generated from measuring special effects such as iridescence or interference colors.
