The CRW ( CRW) file extension is used to store high-resolution, uncompressed digital images created by Canon EOS-series digital cameras. The data file is based on the Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) specification and contains all the required information for a raw image such as color, exposure, white balance and resolution. CRW files are typically 10 times larger than JPEG files and provide more detail in the image.
