The 3DXML file extension is associated with a 3D XML format used in various software developed by Dassault Systemes. The 3D XML format is an application of the XML language to 3D objects and it stores the data related to the coordinates, topology, geometry, materials and colors of 3D models. How to convert the file from STEP to 3DXML?

To successfully convert the STEP file to 3DXML, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.STEP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case 3DXML (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than 3DXML).

What is a file conversion?
