What is SITX file?
The SITX *.sitx is an archive file format developed by Allway Sync (formerly known as Smith Micro Software) and is most commonly used to compress data with StuffIt X applications. The compressed data is stored in a single SITX file, making it convenient for users to share files over email or the internet. What is SIT file?
The SIT .sit file extension is an archive format that was developed by Smith Micro Software. SIT is the default format for compressed files created by Stuffit, its commercial archive utility software. SIT files are generally smaller than ZIP archives. How to convert the file from SITX to SIT?
To successfully convert the SITX file to SIT, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.SITX). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case SIT (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than SIT).
