What is MIDI file?

The .MIDI file extension is a Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) file. MIDI files contain instructions on how a specific instrument or group of instruments should produce sound. These instructions are defined using data and codes stored in the MIDI file. MIDI files are popularly used in music production due to their low size. How to convert the file from CAP to MIDI?

To successfully convert the CAP file to MIDI, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.CAP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case MIDI (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than MIDI).
