What is AIFF file?
The AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) file extension is a generally lossless audio format. Developed by Apple Inc., it was the first mainstream audio file format developed for the Macintosh personal computer system. AIFF is based on the .IFF format created by Electronic Arts for use with its Electronic Music Synthesizers. The MPC file extension, standing for MPC, is a compressed audio file format developed and perfected by the software company Musepack (formerly known as MPC) GmbH. A Musepack-compressed audio file has a very high degree of audio quality, and typically compresses up to an impressive 40% or more. How to convert the file from AIFF to MPC?
To successfully convert the AIFF file to MPC, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.AIFF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case MPC (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than MPC).
