What is AIFF file?
The AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format) file extension is a generally lossless audio format. Developed by Apple Inc., it was the first mainstream audio file format developed for the Macintosh personal computer system. AIFF is based on the .IFF format created by Electronic Arts for use with its Electronic Music Synthesizers. What is AUP file?
The .AUP file is the main type of Audacity Project, a proprietary file type used exclusively to store and recall projects created in the cross-platform, open-source audio editing platform Audacity. It contains metadata on all edits, effects, and settings that have been applied to the file or project, as well as all audio data associated with the project. How to convert the file from AIFF to AUP?
To successfully convert the AIFF file to AUP, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.AIFF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case AUP (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than AUP).
