What is AIF file?

What is CAF file?

CAF (Core Audio File) is a digital audio file format that was submitted to the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) in 2006, and is part of Apple Mac OS and iOS technologies. It is heavily based on older sound file formats, such as AIFF and AES31-1990. How to convert the file from AIF to CAF?

To successfully convert the AIF file to CAF, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.AIF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case CAF (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than CAF).

What is a file conversion?
