The PFD file extension is used by the Micrografx Optima! software. This was a high-end illustration program that was quite popular in the late 80s and early 90s. It was used to create sophisticated drawings and graphics for print and other media. The .pfd file contains designs, diagrams, charts, and other objects that users created with this program.
Technical Details
The .pfd files is created in the proprietary "Micrografx Vector Object", or MVO format, which is not compatible with other graphics programs.
