The OCD ( OCD) file extension is a file specific to OCAD, a premium mapping software that allows users to create digital cartographic products. This type of extension contains data regarding vector as well as raster objects and is generated by this software in order to save cartographic information with the purpose of having a standard format for exchanging maps. It stores data like symbols, text, areas, vectors, points, raster textures and contours from Geographic Information System (GIS) in order to provide better visualization of the map.
