The NBI file extension is a Nero BackItUp Information File, created with Nero BackItUp. It stores information regarding backups and other data files created with Nero BackItUp, such as dates and the file name of each backup. NBI files are generated by Nero BackItUp when backups are created and stored in the same directory as the backup files.
File Structure
NBI files contain simple text information and data about stored backups. Each NBI file has a unique identifier and stores information related to the associated backup group.
