The MMP file extension stands for MixMeister Studio .MMP. It is a proprietary playlist file format developed by MixMeister Technologies, and mainly used for storing music playlists created in MixMeister Studio. It is used for creating music playlists of multiple audio formats, including MP3, WAV, OGG, WMA and assorted audio CD formats. The playlists can be exported to other program like iTunes that can be played in an MP3 player.
The MMP file contains the tempo information and time signatures of each track. The MMP file also stores volume levels and cues for sample repeat and looping functions.
