The .LWP file extension is associated with the Lotus Word Pro, part of the Lotus Smartsuite office suite and developed by IBM. Word Pro is word processor application, used to create and modify standard .DOC documents, tables and reports. It was formerly known as Ami Pro.
Format Details
Lotus Word Pro file format is a binary document type which generally contains text and its related formatting information such as font type, size, color, images, bullet points. It has support for different page view including navigator for handling pages which can be viewed as document outline. It also supports multiple stationery designs for documents wherein users can also use auto text fields and create macro’s for automating some common tasks.
