What is MTS file?

The MTS file extension stands for the high definition video format referred to as Advanced Video Coding High Definition or AVCHD Video. This format was developed by a joint venture between Sony and Panasonic for use in digital camcorders that record and store video on MiniDV tapes. How to convert the file from TRP to MTS?

To successfully convert the TRP file to MTS, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.TRP). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case MTS (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than MTS).
