What is PY file?
The .PY is a file extension used by the Python programming language which is an interpreted, high-level and general-purpose programming language. It is designed to be highly readable, with its use of significant whitespace and indentation to delimit code blocks reducing the complexity otherwise found in many other languages. This interpreted language is used for developing web applications, desktop applications and other software components. The . [ ⏩ ] PY file extension
What is RPY file?
RPY (Python script) file extension is a script type used in Python, an interpreted, object-oriented programming language. It consists of source code written in Python that can be run immediately or saved for later use. When saved, the file is given an .rpy extension. A code editor or an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is used to create RPY files that can be executed in the command prompt. [ ⏩ ] RPY file extension
How to convert the file from PY to RPY?
To successfully convert the PY file to RPY, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.PY). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case RPY (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than RPY).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. PY to RPY. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting PY files to RPY files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension RPY, while before this step we had the PY file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new RPY file, or not.
