What is PEF file?

The PEF file extension stands for Pentax Electronic File. It is used by camera models of the Pentax brand, being part of the Pentax Digital Camera System. PEF is the default RAW image format used by many Pentax digital cameras, such as the K10D, K20D, K100D or K110D. The RAF (.RAF) file extension is an image format created by FUJIFILM. The acronym RAF stands for "FUJIFILM Raw Image File," and is designed by FUJIFILM to be used exclusively with their digital camera line. RAW files are considered semi-professional or professional formats because they offer higher quality and more advanced editing capabilities than other file extensions, such as JPEGs. How to convert the file from PEF to RAF?

To successfully convert the PEF file to RAF, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.PEF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case RAF (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than RAF).

What is a file conversion?
