What is PGM file?

PGM (Portable Gray Map Image) is a bitmap image format created by Netpbm, and represented by the .pgm file extension. It is an image format primarily used for grayscale images, and involves various image elements, such as pixel dimensions, color and color depth. PGM retains all information from the original file, so it can be used to save high fidelity versions of an image. How to convert the file from PDF to PGM?

To successfully convert the PDF file to PGM, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.PDF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case PGM (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than PGM).

What is a file conversion?

A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application.
