What is DAE file?

DAE (Digital Asset Exchange) is a file extension widely used in popular 3D software like Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender, and other applications that create 3D models and scenes. DAE file format is used as a medium to exchange 3D assets between these applications. How to convert the file from GLTF to DAE?

To successfully convert the GLTF file to DAE, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.GLTF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case DAE (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than DAE).

What is a file conversion?
