The .XLTM file extension is a spreadsheet template specifically made to be opened using the Microsoft Excel software suite. These files are part of the Open XML standard viewed as a Macro-Enabled Spreadsheet that contains elements that allow for embedding macros and other programs written in Visual Basic. A user can use the Microsoft Excel software application to create, open, view, and edit this type of spreadsheet file.
