The WMZ file type is a compressed Skin file used in Windows Media Player. Skin files contain the graphics and layout information used to personalize the look and feel of the media player. This format is a compressed version of the standard WMP Skin file, but is still compatible with WMP. The file type (.wmz) is created by compressing the original WMP Skin file (.wms) using a compression format such as Zip or gzip. This allows users to easily share their custom Skin files with others.
Overview
