VMG (short for .VMG) is a binary-encoded file format used by Nokia to store text messages. It is widely used in older Nokia devices that are based on Symbian operating system. The file is encoded in binary form, meaning the text within it can't be accessed directly without being decoded first.
Technical Details of.VMG File Format
The VMG file contains text messages, images, sound clips, graphics and other multimedia content.
