TBK is a .TBK file extension used by ToolBook, an authoring tool used to write multimedia software. TBK files contain project data saved for ToolBook tutorial and application projects. TBK files are created in versions 4.x through 8.x of ToolBook and store a list of media, paths to external resources, objects between frames, menu settings and group leader/follower settings. The TBK file also may contain publishing information for the Web, Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat formats.

It can also export these files to an.EDU format inclusive of HTML files.
