Split Multi-volume RAR Compressed File Archive (part 32) | Eugene Roshal | Compressed Files |
R30 ( .R30) is a file extension associated with WinRAR Archive Part files created by WinRAR. A WinRAR Split Archive Part file is a part of a large compressed archive file that has been split into smaller parts (or volumes). This allows users to save the file on several different disks or send the file over the Internet in sections. All the volumes included in an R30 file have been compressed using the same compression algorithm as any other WinRAR archive.
R30 files are created when splitting a single archive file using the “Split to Volumes” feature of WinRAR. The Split to Volume option enables users to split a particular archive into multiple volumes while preserving the original directory structure and file names. A typical WinRAR Split Archive Part file is designated with a numerical sequence range, like.001,.002, and so on. The first volume of the split archive ends with extension code "R01. Therefore, the 30th part ends with ".R30". After all the required parts are downloaded they should all be located in one folder and then be extracted with the first volume's name.
Similar File Extensions
Other split compressed files include .SPL, .Z01, .7Z.001, .001, and .PAK. All files mentioned above can be uncompressed by either opening them with their corresponding compression program or by renaming them and assigning the proper extension, such as.rar or.zip.
Programs for WINDOWS system
Programs for MAC system
Programs for LINUX system
After installing the required software, the operating system will usually automatically associate an unknown file type (in this case .R30) with the new application. If this does not happen, we can help the system a bit by selecting the software for it, which it should always use to open files with the .R30 extension.
When choosing the software we can select the system to use this software every time.
Remember!
Using it for the first time it is good to check whether the .R30 file opened in the application can be read by us and opens in a way that allows us to use it. If everything is in order, select this option the next time you open a file with the .R30 extension. However, if the file has not opened correctly, we have to look for a different software, with which we can open files with the .R30 extension. Select a different software from our list and install it on your computer. After the software is installed, repeat inspection openings of a .R30 file. Sometimes you have to repeat the operation several times.
Other instructions
If none of the programs listed by us to work with the .R30 file has not meet your expectations, you can try searching other websites. But remember to avoid downloading programs "that can open any file". These applications not only have very limited functionality, but may also expose you to expense tens of dollars when purchasing a license.
In the vast majority of cases you will find the program dedicated to support the .R30 file, or any other file format. In addition, there is a chance that it will be a free program, and its functionality (concerning the .R30 file) will be extended to the maximum.
It is also good to check
- if the .R30 file has no errors
- or if it has been copied (or downloaded by the browser) thoroughly
