The PJ (Project64 Saved State File) file extension is used by Project64, a Nintendo 64 emulator for Windows-based systems. This saved state file enables users to save the game progress and use it later from the exact same position. Generally, if the game is paused, you can save as a PJ file and then resume playing from the same position later.
File Format and Editing
The PJ file contains the saved state information associated with a game being played with Project64. These files are stored in roms directory and have either *.PJ or *.PJ6 as their file name extension.
