The NKX (Kontakt Monolith Container File) is a .NKX file type used by Native Instruments software. It is an audio format container for storing audio data used with the software-based Kontakt application. NKX files can contain multiple audio tracks of different kinds of formats, add-ons, or graphic images. NKX files are often used to store sounds and music loops that can be accessed when editing audio in the Kontakt application.
NKX Container Format
NKX containers are used to group multiple audio data files within an NKX container library. The file extension form of the container is " .NKX".
