The MZP file extension is associated with MAXScript Zip Package, the development language used within the Autodesk software 3ds Max. MAXScript is a scripting language application created by Autodesk, originally released in 1994 for 3D computer animation. MZP files allow developers to package multiple files for their MAXScript projects in one convenient download.
The MZP file extension is automatically generated when a directory of files is saved as a MAXScript Zip Package. This archive format is similar to ZIP, XAR, and TAR, but is only compatible with the 3ds Max program.
