The INP file is the .INP extension format used by the Abaqus suite of engineering simulation tools. It is used to store the input parameters for analyses performed within the Abaqus suite, and also to store the resulting output. Features stored within an INP file can include commands and data related to geometry, objects, boundary conditions, disciplines such as structural analysis or fluid dynamics.
