INDD is the default file format for documents created using Adobe InDesign software. It contains text, fonts, graphics, images, formatting and other associated resources used to create the document. The .INDD file extension is the most basic format for storing file information in Adobe InDesign, and it allows users to save documents in progress without implementing the final output format.
