GRB ( .GRB) is a GRIB Meteorological Data File. It stands for 'GRIdded Binary' and is used to store weather or climate data in a concise binary format. The GRB file extension has been created by the World Meteorological Organization as a synonym of GRIdded Binary and is used in WMO GRIB editions 0, 1, and 2.
A GRB file contains information such as wind, pressure, temperature and precipitation that are useful in meteorological analysis.
