FCL (FidoCAD Library File) is an open source file format developed by Franco Meschia for FidoCAD. FCL is used by FidoCAD to store symbols, elements and objects used to draw circuits diagrams and other graphics. The file format is an extension of the fc file format used in FidoCAD, with the difference that an FCL file can contain multiple elements. An FCL library file can contain information such as symbols, elements, objects and description data. It usually stores graphical data such as lines and shapes in a compressed form.
