The A01 (Split Multi-volume ARJ compressed file archive (part 3)) file extension is a type of ARJ archive created by WinAce, a popular Windows-based archiving tool for compressing files into fewer bytes and providing faster transfer times over networks. The A01 file is used to store multiple files and folders into one single file archive in order to reduce its size and simplify storage and distribution. It is the third in a series of split archives that have the same root name, but different extension numbers.
