What is EXR file?

The EXR (OpenEXR Image) .exr file extension is a professional-quality, high-dynamic-range (HDR) image format developed by Industrial Light & Magic (IlM) and released as an open-source file format. It provides advanced features, such as support for multiple layers, lossless data storage, high bit depth and multi-channel images. How to convert the file from XAF to EXR?

To successfully convert the XAF file to EXR, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.XAF). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case EXR (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than EXR).

What is a file conversion?
