What is X3D file?
The X3D file extension is commonly found in 3D graphics and animation files. It is typically used for Xara3D, an animation and illustration application developed by Xara Group Ltd. The X3D format is a popular choice for three-dimensional vector images and animations, as it can be opened and shared across multiple different platforms. The X3D format is ideal for complex vector renderings. [ ⏩ ] X3D file extension
What is AC file?
The AC3D file extension (.AC) is associated with AC3D (ApFAB C3D Graphics), a 3-dimensional graphics application developed by Inivis Limited for Windows, Mac OS and Linux platforms. AC3D files are 3D models and scenes generated by the program, and contain geometry information describing objects, polygons, surfaces, materials, textures and other attributes used for creating 3D modeling projects. It is also possible to export the files in popular formats such as 3DS, OBJ and VRML. [ ⏩ ] AC file extension

How to convert the file from X3D to AC?
To successfully convert the X3D file to AC, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.X3D). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case AC (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than AC).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. X3D to AC. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting X3D files to AC files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension AC, while before this step we had the X3D file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new AC file, or not.
