What is VBS file?

VBS (VBScript File) is a file extension used by Visual Basic Scripting Edition to store Visual Basic source code. It is used to create applications, scripts and components for Windows-based programs. VBS files are based on the Microsoft Visual Basic language and they typically contain functions and procedures that can be referenced by other scripts or programs.
