What is PS2 file?

The PS2 file extension is associated with the PCSX2 PlayStation 2 emulator program for Microsoft Windows and Macs. It is a memory card file used by the program to store game save data. PCSX2 memory card files are saved in a proprietary format using the filename “memcard1” or “memcard2” depending on the desired location of storage.
