What is PRS file?
The .PRS file is the native file format used by Harvard Graphics Presentation (HGP) software. Each .PRS file consists of data objects, presentations, slides, and structured documents that are written in a structured language. It includes graphical objects, such as images, formatted text, bullets, shapes, etc., as well as their related properties and layout information. Furthermore, .PRS files also contain links of other documents or files. Features of a PRS File A . [ ⏩ ] PRS file extension

The PPT file extension stands for Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation File. It is a slideshow presentation file created by Microsoft PowerPoint. PPT is the most commonly used file type for presentations, which makes up the majority of Microsoft Office documents. It has an associated .PPTX file extension, which is used when saving updated versions of an already existing presentation. [ ⏩ ] PPT file extension

How to convert the file from PRS to PPT?
To successfully convert the PRS file to PPT, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.PRS). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case PPT (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than PPT).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. PRS to PPT. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting PRS files to PPT files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension PPT, while before this step we had the PRS file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new PPT file, or not.
