What is GEO file?
The GEO .VRML file extension is a type of 3D geometry file. It is used to store digital 3D models and scenes created within Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML)-based software programs, like CyberSpace Developer . VRML files are typically exported from 3D graphics software packages that uses the Cybertools Standard File Format. This includes such programs as Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya, among others. What is TCX file?
The TCX file extension is associated with a .TCX Training Center Database file. The TCX files store structured data which can be read both by applications, such as Garmin Training Center (GTC), and web services, such as Garmin Connect. The file typically accompanies the transfer of GPS data which have been collected for GPS-enabled sport-tracking activities. The TCX files offer a range of information relevant to users training activities, such as lap data, heart rate data, and speed data. [ ⏩ ] TCX file extension
How to convert the file from GEO to TCX?
To successfully convert the GEO file to TCX, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.GEO). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case TCX (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than TCX).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. GEO to TCX. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting GEO files to TCX files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension TCX, while before this step we had the GEO file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new TCX file, or not.
