What is GEN file?

A GEN .GEN file is a ROM (read-only memory) image of a Sega Genesis gaming cartridge. It is used for storing a backup of an original game, which can be loaded into emulators and ran on computers and other digital devices for the purpose of playing classic Sega Genesis video games. To successfully convert the CHP file to GEN, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.CHP).
