What is BLEND1 file?
The BLEND1 file extension is used by the Blender 3D modeling program. It is a file format that stores complete 3D scenes, encompassing objects, materials, textures, lights and images. Essentially, it contains all of the information and data necessary to reconstruct any given scene in full. This ensures that files can be backed up easily and sent between colleagues without worrying about losing any work. [ ⏩ ] BLEND1 file extension
What is BLEND file?
The .BLEND file format is used to store three-dimensional graphic data in the form of a virtual environment with modeling, animating, rendering, and other advanced features present in Blender 3D software from Blender Foundation. A .BLEND file contains 3D objects, textures, lighting settings, animations, particles and other scene data as well as metadata for the model. The data is stored in various different encoded chunks that have interrelationships and are then saved into a single file. [ ⏩ ] BLEND file extension

How to convert the file from BLEND1 to BLEND?
To successfully convert the BLEND1 file to BLEND, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.BLEND1). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case BLEND (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than BLEND).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. BLEND1 to BLEND. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting BLEND1 files to BLEND files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension BLEND, while before this step we had the BLEND1 file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new BLEND file, or not.
