What is ATL file?
An ATL file is a three-dimensional scene file used by Artlantis, a rendering and animation application by Abvent. It stores a 3D model of a scene or object which includes the object's geometry, textures, light sources, shadows, environment settings, camera views, and other related information. ATL files are used for quickly previewing and rendering different lighting and camera angles. [ ⏩ ] ATL file extension
What is AA file?
AA is a file format created by Audible, Inc. It is primarily used to store digital audio book files. The file extension for this format is .AA. It is the only supported file format for transferring Audible audio files from one device to another, and is DRM protected. The AA file type includes information about the audio book such as chapters, title, author, product descriptions, and other metadata for multi-part audiobooks. [ ⏩ ] AA file extension
How to convert the file from ATL to AA?
To successfully convert the ATL file to AA, you should install one of the applications from the list. After installing the software, open the program and select the file you want to convert (file-name.ATL). The next step is to select the target format from the list, in this case AA (usually converters allow you to convert to several different formats, so check out their features - maybe one of the available formats will suit you more than AA).
What is a file conversion?
A data conversion is normally an automated process to some extent. The effect of the operation of one program is automatically the input product of another application. If that does not happen we need to help the process a little bit and convert the file on our own, e.g. ATL to AA. To obtain a matched structure of the data, it is necessary to use an appropriate converter.
Program for converting ATL files to AA files is a kind of a "binary code translator" compensating for the differences in the code or translating it in such a way so that another application could use it. For us, as users, the visible change will be only another file extension. (After converting the file, it will be the extension AA, while before this step we had the ATL file). For the programs, the difference is on a much higher level – either the application will be able to open a new AA file, or not.
